News: M&O Provides Clean Air Advocacy Training to Morehouse Pediatricians

M&O is honored to be a part of the Morehouse School of Medicine’s Pediatric Residency Advocacy Rotation again this year. Through this partnership, M&O provides a three-hour hands-on training for residents on why air pollution and climate change are children’s health issues and how to advocate for clean air. Participants learn how to meet with elected officials, write letters to the editor and testify at public hearings. They consistently rate the training as excellent overall. A member of our February 5th group has already sent a letter to the editor at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about the value of the Clean Power Plan.
