The Healthy Air is Healthcare Coalition

We are proud members of the Healthy Air is Healthcare Coalition, a collaborative partnership between Mothers & Others For Clean Air, Georgia Clinicians for Climate Action, and the Georgia State Medical Association. Healthy Air is Healthcare (HAH) mobilizes healthcare professionals throughout the state to advocate for policies that protect health by limiting air pollution and climate change. Healthcare professionals passionate about the impact of the environment on health, especially kids’ health, are invited to join us as Healthy Air is Healthcare Champions. We have trained and provided tailored advocacy resources to 15+ health professionals across Georgia.

Georgians Organized to Survive and Thrive (GOST)

We are active members of Georgians Organized to Survive and Thrive (GOST), a statewide network of organizations dedicated to improving and protecting public and environmental health in Georgia. Some of our GOST Network partners include:

Air Purifier Distributions

In 2025, we received a generous donation of 5,000 Intellipure air purifiers from HealthWay. We worked with organizations across the state to distribute the purifiers to families who need them most. Purifiers were given to families of children with asthma, families dealing with chronic mold, mildew, or allergens, and families living in areas with high ambient air pollution (such as in communities near fossil fuel power plants). Our distribution partners include:

Timilon Corporation

Timilon Corporation designs technology that keeps home, school, and workplace environments cleaner and safer. We have partnered with Timilon to test air purification tech to help protect kids from air pollution. Most recently, we worked with Timilon and Atlanta Public Schools to test SMART Mount air purification systems in school buses. We saw major air quality improvements while the purifiers were in use, and we are working to expand this study to other Georgia school districts.

ECO-Action

ECO-Action is a community-based organization that helps vulnerable communities address environmental health issues. We partnered with ECO-Action to install air quality monitors in 5 communities (Peoplestown, Pittsburgh, Lithonia, Snapfinger, and South Fulton). Our Health Advisor, Dr. Anne, is leading health & air pollution educational sessions about why this project is useful and beneficial.

Southeast Climate and Energy Network

The Southeast Climate and Energy Network (SCEN) is a regional partnership of nonprofits that fight for a more sustainable, equitable future. SCEN’s mission is to “is to confront the climate crisis by creating strategic alignment, growing capacity, and building power among member organizations and their communities in the Southeastern United States”.

U.S. Climate Action Network

The U.S. Climate Action Network (USCAN) is a national partnership of organizations dedicated to mitigating climate change. USCAN’s mission is to “urgently drive bold and equitable climate action by fostering collaboration among a diverse network of organizations and providing resources to accelerate collective impact from the local level to the global scale”.

Children's Environmental Health Network

The Children’s Environmental Health Network (CEHN) is a leading voice in children’s health advocacy. CEHN works to protect the health and wellbeing of children by promoting research-backed environmental policies, educating decisionmakers and families on the importance of environmental health, and advocating for systems-level change.

On the second Thursday of October every year, we celebrate Children’s Environmental Health (CEH) Day. CEH Day is a chance for us to unite and amplify the mission of CEHN. We are proud CEH Day partners.
