NC Releases Zero Emission Vehicle Plan

The North Carolina Department of Transportation recently released a plan to increase the number of zero emission vehicles in the state.
The secretary of NCDOT, Jim Trogdon, said ““Zero-emission vehicles will improve the air we breathe, allow for greater mobility and grow our clean energy economy.”

This is really smart for North Carolina. As Trogdon noted, it will keep the air cleaner, which keeps us healthier by preventing heart attacks, strokes, and asthma attacks, and many other health benefits. It will make the state’s transportation more flexible, and it is preparing the state’s economy for the future. More clean energy jobs, more clean energy transportation. You don’t need a crystal ball to know that that’s where the future is headed, and NCDOT is preparing for the future and keeping people healthy now. Way to go, North Carolina!
