Mothers & Others for Clean Air Receives Georgia Drawdown Grant

We’re excited to share that Mothers & Others For Clean Air, with our partners the Georgia State Medical Association, Inc. (GSMA) and Georgia Clinicians for Climate Action (GaCCA), was awarded a Drawdown Georgia Climate Solutions & Equity Grant in support of our work to reach historically marginalized communities with equitable solutions for the unhealthy impacts of diesel school bus exhaust to our children. To reach this end goal, we have strengthened the partnership between the three groups: Mothers and Others for Clean Air (MOCA), Georgia Clinicians for Climate Action (GaCCA), and the Georgia State Medical Association (GSMA).

This grant program was launched to support efforts to scale climate solutions that prioritize equity in Georgia. The funding partners for the 2024-2025 are the R. Howard Dobbs, Jr. Foundation, the Ghanta Family Foundation, The Wilbur & Hilda Glenn Family Foundation, The @Ray C. Anderson Foundation, the Reilly Family Fund, and the Tull Charitable Foundation.

Congratulations to all of this year’s grant recipients! Together, we are bringing climate solutions home to Georgians.
