Innovations in Renewable Energy at Universities

Environment Georgia did an analysis of colleges and universities to see what they are doing to use more renewable energy.

Many are doing really innovative things. There’s a building that generates more energy and water than it uses (GA Tech), a bus fleet that will soon be 1/3 EV buses (UGA), a university that reduced its energy use by 43% (Albany State), installing a reflective roof as part of a LEED certified building (Dental College of Georgia), solar arrays, and installing LED lights (several colleges and universities).

This report has a lot of ideas that could be implemented at any university- it’s really helpful!
