EPA has Guidelines for School Siting Decisions

Did you know EPA has published a set of guidelines for school districts to use when planning new schools or renovating existing schools?

The guidelines discuss environmental review of the proposed site, and discuss issues such as traffic (air pollution), walkability (less air pollution), hazardous chemicals, railroads, and other potential environmental concerns. They are really useful and good resource for any school system.
