EPA Announces It Will Try To Rescind The 2016 Methane Rule

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced yesterday that is will propose a new rule to rescind the 2016 methane rule.
This proposal is exceedingly harmful to human health. Not only is methane a potent greenhouse gas, it also is a potent contributor to ground level ozone. Once released, methane persists in the atmosphere for at least 10 years. So this rule will allow more methane, more ozone, and cause untold number of deaths and health problems due to both. There are hundreds or thousands of scientific articles documenting how harmful ozone is for human health, especially to children and people with heart or lung conditions.
