Rev. Dr. Gerald Durley, retired senior pastor at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, has written an important article about why climate change is a civil rights issue.
He talks about seeing the impacts of climate change in communities, from children with asthma not being able to play outside, to superstorms devastating the poorest neighborhoods, and farmers not being able to feed their families because the rains don’t come.
It is an excellent article, we highly recommend everyone read it.
