Climate Change and Children

It seems a bit off kilter to be writing about climate while many states and the federal government are declaring a state of emergency today. We remember that air pollution can make people more vulnerable to viruses, and that climate change creates more air pollution. We hope everyone keeps safe and is preparing for the weeks to come. If you have time while you are social distancing, please think about how you can help fight climate.

Therefore we are posting this blog from the American Academy of Pediatrics about why children are so vulnerable to climate change, and even better, what we can do about it: use less energy (conservation and efficiency), work to use less fossil fuels and more clean energy, strengthen our health system, and advocate for local and national policies that address climate.
