Atlanta sets 4 new record high temperatures

Atlanta set 4 record high temperatures last week (Sept 10-13): 98 on Tuesday, 96 on Wednesday, 97 on Thursday, and 98 on Friday. The temperature was 95F or hotter for 10 days, from Sept. 3 to Sept.13. Atlanta also had a Code Red air pollution day on Sept 9 with an AQI of 172, where the air quality from ozone was UNHEALTHY.
We need to step up and take action for clean air and climate action. Clean energy will reduce air pollution, fight climate change, keep us all healthier, and reduce the energy burden for people who are struggling economically. It is a win-win-win all the way around.
