AMA Adopts New Policy to Ensure Physicians have Knowledge of Climate Change

At its June meeting, the American Medical Association (AMA) adopted a policy to ensure that physicians and physicians-in-training have knowledge of the science of climate change and adverse health effects due to climate change.
You can read more about this new policy here: https://www.wsj.com/articles/medical-schools-are-pushed-to-train-doctors-for-climate-change-11565170205

The AMA has also published a guide for medical practices and clinics about going green. The AMA estimates that practices can save $2000 per year or more on expenses by going green, as well as doing good for the planet. A real win-win! If you are a physician or nurse or other staff in an office, share this guide with your office manager. They will thank you!
