20 Counties in Georgia Received Funding For EV School Buses!

Georgia schools districts that have applied for Environmental Protection Agency funding for electric school buses as of May 2024

This is a list of all the county school districts and 1 charter school that have gotten EPA funding in the last few years for electric school buses in Georgia. Congratulations to these school districts for being smart and taking advantage of federal funding to get over the “hump” of the bigger up-front cost of electric school buses. Several school districts have received more than one funding award!

Electric school buses are better for student health, better for bus driver health, reduce air pollution levels in the community, and could improve student performance in school. They also save the school districts money for fuel costs. A real win-win any way you look at it!
