State Health Department Resources for COVID-19 in the Southeast

We are printing a list of coronavirus information from state health departments in the Southeast. In addition to the state health departments, many university hospitals and other medical centers have useful information on their websites.

All of these websites have additional information and resources that are specific to each state. Many states have a toll free hotline you can call, which is listed on that state’s coronavirus website.

And here are 5 tips on dealing with the stress of coronavirus, and social distancing, from UNC Healthcare. https://healthtalk.unchealthcare.org/5-tips-to-manage-stress-about-coronavirus-covid-19/

Many utility and city services (water, etc.) have stopped doing cutoffs for customers unable to pay their bills right now. https://www.energyandpolicy.org/utilities-disconnect-coronavirus/

We wish everyone a safe time at home while social distancing.
