NPR has published a podcast under their “Life Kit” series about how to talk to kids about climate change. (It also has a transcript if you would rather read than listen.) It covers several topics, the first and most important one is: Talk About Climate Change. We need to talk about it more, and our children need to hear from us that it is something we think about and are trying to fix.
The topics in the podcast are Break the Silence (talk about it), Give Your Kids the Basic Facts, Get Outdoors, Focus on Feelings (stress and anxiety), Take Action, and Find Hope.
