Gigi brings a combination of enthusiasm, experience, and education in working with Mothers & Others for Clean Air.
Gigi has worked in academia, with non-profits and Fortune 500 companies helping to build individual and organizational capability. This includes: strategic planning, leadership development, career coaching, training and development, succession planning, operations improvement, and acquiring and integrating new technology into existing processes.
Gigi also has a background in public health. She co-founded Willing Health Awareness Mentors, a peer education group at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She worked with Pennsylvania State University’s Office of Health Promotion and Education, where she chaired the “Protect the Blood Project,” an initiative aimed at addressing the impact of HIV/AIDS in the Black and Latino campus community. She also trained peer educators and conducted pre-and post HIV test counseling.
She has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Masters Degree in Counselor Education, and a Doctoral Degree in Adult Education with a Human Resource and Organizational Development concentration.
Gigi is also a huge sci-fi fan, bookworm, loves to travel, and enjoys eating fine cuisine.
