Mothers & Others for Clean Air is pleased to announce that Stefanie Ebelt Sarnat, Associate Professor, Environmental Health at Emory University joined our Partnership Council. Stefanie will serve as the liaison between Emory’s Rollins School of Public Health and M&O.
Stefanie’s research focuses on examining cardiovascular and respiratory effects of ambient air quality using population- and panel-based approaches. She has lead several large-scale time-series studies of ambient air quality and acute morbidity, with specific interests in assessing the health impacts of air pollution, meteorological conditions, and weather extremes.
Her latest research includes a statistical modeling framework for projecting future ambient ozone levels.
