Mothers & Others for Clean Air co-founder Laura Turner Seydel was one of four mom activists featured in the panel discussion “Moms Making a Difference” at the Earth Day Texas event on April 23, 2016 in Dallas. Laura’s co-panelists were Tina Beattie with ConservAmerica, Gretchen Dahlkemper with Moms Clean Air Force, and pediatrician and UT professor Dr. Susan Pacheco. Anna Clark with Earth People moderated the panel.
The panel discussed the role that mothers have historically had in leading the charge against environmental health hazards. They talked about the current generation of mother activists and the wrongs they are working to right.
