Congratulations To All The Georgia School Districts Getting New Clean Electric School Buses!

EPA recently announced the school districts that were awarded electric school buses in the 2023 round of school bus funding. They include Bibb County, Carrollton City, Clayton County, Dekalb County, Glynn County, and Richmond County/Augusta. That means over 150 new electric school buses coming to Georgia – healthy clean buses for students who ride them, and for the drivers who drive them!

Together with the over 120 school buses awarded to Georgia counties in the 2022 round of funding, this means almost 300 electric school buses bringing better health to our state! And there are still 3 more rounds of funding to go!
