This week the United Nations is holding a Climate Action Summit. It is time for our leaders to take action.
Gulf Coast and Atlantic Coast states in the Southeast are already feeling the impact of storms that are stronger due to climate change. Michael, Irma, Florence, and Matthew have caused severe damage in multiple states in the Southeast.
We need to act on climate: reduce energy use, renewable energy, clean transportation, transition to 50% reduction in carbon then zero carbon. We need to do it quickly. It’s possible if we act and don’t stall! Please call on your elected leaders to take action. There are things that can be done at every level: city/county, state, and federal.
