The Oxford GA City Council recently voted to remove fees for city electric utility customers who have rooftop solar on their homes. Fees could reach $50/month and made solar not feasible. Bravo, Oxford!!
If you live in a city that has a city owned utility that charges excess fees for customers with solar, you can ask the utility or your city councilperson or mayor to stop charging these fees. With all that is happening with climate change, we need all the renewable energy we can get, everywhere. Residential and utility scale. The more, the better.
